From Gaza , With Love

From Gaza, With Love tells the coming-of-age story of Sami, a young Palestinian man growing up under Israeli occupation in Gaza. His life changes when he meets two UN workers who help him secure a scholarship to study in the United States.

In the U.S., Sami faces not only the challenges of adjusting to a new culture and language, but also comes to terms with his sexual identity. His relationship with John, a Jewish man from Chicago, forces both of them to confront their personal histories, religious differences, and political beliefs.

The novel explores love, identity, cultural conflict, and personal liberation, all set against the backdrop of political struggle and displacement.
